Legislative Session Information

The Oklahoma Legislature meets annually from February to May. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within five days after transmittal (except Sundays) or it becomes law without signature. If transmittal occurs with less than five days left in the session, the governor must act within 15 days of the date of session adjournment (including Sundays) or the legislation is vetoed.
